process. Our offsite manufacturing facility is weather
proof; saving you time, hassle and money.

As seasoned construction industry professionals, we know how important it is to complete projects on time and on
budget. Your Questcon Precast custom Lift Pit can minimise costs, time and health and safety issues, increasing the
speed and efficiency during this phase of your build.
Xypex Admix C - Series outperforms other methods of concrete waterproofing, durability and protection because of its unique
ability to become a truly integral part of the concrete matrix. Advantages of Xypex Admix C – Series include:
AS 1478.1 – Chemical Admixture for concrete, mortar, and grout as Type SN
AS/NZS 4020: 199 – Products for use in contact with drinking water
Resistant to extreme hydrostatic pressure from both the positive and negative side
Ease of application
Becomes an integral part of the concrete

Addresses a wide range of environmental issues

As well as Xypex Admixture in the concrete, your
custom designed Lift Pit will also have an exterior
waterproof membrane and protection layer applied to
the external facade of the Lift Pit to act as the primary
waterproofing barrier (FCM).
Curing compound is applied to exposed concrete
surfaces and is included as a hold point under the
Quality Assurance procedure.
Fully cured in the formwork for up to 2 weeks in our
factory rather than onsite.
Rounded edges and internal corners rather than sharp
corners to help with waterproofing adhesion.
Speed up the process of your Lift Pit installation by up to
2 weeks and reduce the risk of inclement weather
delays and your project running over time.

WATERPROOF
We’ve teamed up with the best in the industry to ensure
your custom Lift Pit is 100% waterproof.
We use Xypex waterproofing Admixture products. The best
in the industry for over 40 years.
To further protect your Lift Pit from water entry, there will be
a “Flexible Cementicious Membrane” (FCM) applied to the
outside of the precast structure giving another layer of
waterproofing for added peace of mind. To ensure the
precast membrane is not damaged during placement, a
corflute protection board is adhered to the outside of the
“FCM”. PROGRAMMING
Delivery of your custom designed Lift Pit will occur 6 weeks
after we receive your purchase order.
