1. Optimisation of process parameters in Surface grinding using taguchi approach,
Artificial neural networks and genetic algorithm.
Description:
The main aim of this project is to determine required process parameters for optaining
optimal surface finish for the specific material used. The experiments are done based on
DOE and obtained results are used in Genetic algorithm and ANN to obtain a optimal
solution
2. Design and analysis of Active system of reduction of vibration in a grinding
machine using piezoelectric actuators using ANSYS and Pro-E
Description:
The main aim of this project is to determine required number of actuators needed to
suppress the vibrations occurring in a machine using modal analysis of deteminine the
natural vibration of the system by using Pro-E and anaylsing in ANSYS.
