Ms. Jeanie Lam worked for our agency, when it was Mahan Insurance Brokers, LLC. We
moved our operations to our Corporation entity as of 12/1/2013. I was Ms. Lam’s supervisor
during her employment with us at Mahan Insurance Brokers, LLC. She worked for us for the
following time period.
 6/27/11 – 9/6/12
Ms. Lam learned many skills during her employment with us. Some of these are as follows:
1. She was responsible for evaluating that claims are filled out correctly, processed on
time, and logged accurately on the computer.
2. She managed company transactions, ensured payments of premium were made, and
monitored activities and due dates through the computer database.
3. She primarily prepared certificates of insurance, evidences of property, issued
endorsements to our insureds, which included contractors, and general data-entry.
4. She organized and prepared insurance policies for issuance to the insureds and
compiled records of insurance policies covering risks to property and equipment of
industrial organizations.
5. She answered the phones and was the first point of contact for new customers. Her
friendly attitude was always an asset on the phone.
Overall, Ms. Lam was a pleasure to work with. She was most capable and professional in her
duties. We were sad to see her go. We anticipate that she would be a great asset to other
office type environments where efficient processing of paperwork, customer service and
attention to detail are required.
