This document summarizes the design of a new building that emphasizes the use of wood as a resilient material. The contractor successfully brought the architect's design to life using wood for 30% of the exterior and focusing on natural ventilation, daylighting, and views to maximize energy efficiency and comfort. The open floor plan and outdoor spaces were designed to provide functionality, views, and relaxation for the clients.

This design emphasizes greater use of Wood as a resilient material for buildings in
entirety.
The Contractor did a great job bringing the idea behind the concept to fruition.
In order to add to the beauty of wood facade we were careful to cover only 30% of the
exterior with metal (panels) cladding.
Space organization and functionality, elements and fixtures were all based on clients
request, architects suggestions and client’s final approval.
Purposely built for energy savings through ample airiness with adequate cross natural
ventilation void of mechanical ventilators.
Openness of space (maximizing) free functional flow, natural day lighting within living
areas with great external Views from and across perimeter walls.
Needless to emphasize that wood as a structural element and component is a great
source of thermal comfort for interiors.
The spot lights were carefully chosen towards same goal of energy savings and the
kitchens of high design taste and value to maximize user comfort and satisfaction.
The roof top open terrace, sit-outs is designed to provide additional comfort, great views
and open air relaxation in addition to a rear side upper floor terrace.
