3. Linux 101
● Linux can be seen and is used almost everything that have
impacted our lives, for consumers, enterprise, public
sector, and even non-profit organization.
● From PC, mobile devices, cars, appliance, and almost
everything you can think of has either built from or
running Linux.
● But more than that, as Linus Trovalds sees, creator of
Linux, more than the Kernel itself, Linux is a community
that contributes to make Linux even better.

9. Good question!
If you were like me who just started a journey in Linux, I
would recommend CentOS and Ubuntu. Primarily because CentOS
belong to the same family as RHEL which is used in most
enterprise and Ubuntu due to the pervasive cloud technology.
But between the two, I would go for Ubuntu first. For a
newbie like me, documentation and tutorials are my
bestfriend, Ubuntu provides helpful, if not the best
documentation.

Having the best quality and accessible education helps bring
you closer to your goals. I know there’s tons of online
courses out there but this is what I think the best starting
point a newbie could get.
