Biographies Stewart Lambert Partner Stewart trained as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen before leaving to work for a mid cap plc in a head office role encompassing financial reporting, treasury, tax and M&A. Stewart then left to join venture capitalist 3i where he worked on investments in a variety of sectors and invested at all stages of a companies development from start up through to MBO and disposal. Following 3i, Stewart left to join Tenon working in corporate finance where he advised on both acquisitions and disposals and ended up leading the twelve strong southern region corporate finance team. Stewart joined James Cowper in January 2009, getting back to doing what he does best which is leading transactions with his first year culminating in winning ‘Large Dealmaker of the Year in the South of England’. Nick Rogers Partner Nick Rogers has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, dealing with company disposals, IPO’s and management buyouts. Up until 1999 Nick was responsible for the Ernst & Young Corporate Finance Team in Reading. During that time the transactions completed by the team included the £75m MBO of part of DERA. A qualified corporate financier, Nick has specialist experience with entrepreneurial, fast growing businesses. Also, as a former owner of his own business that was sold, he has experienced the sharp end of transactions. Nick joined James Cowper in 2004 and has led the Corporate Finance team since 2006.

Biographies Graham Carr Director Graham has the depth and breadth of due diligence experience, and the commercial experience of previous Finance Director roles, that enables him to add real value on M&A deals. Since the last century, Graham has advised clients (SMEs, banks, PE houses) on refinancing, flotation, MBOs, acquisitions, disposals and profit improvement. Graham has worked with clients making acquisitions and has also assisted clients in preparing their businesses for sale (vendor assistance) as well as vendor due diligence. In understanding the mechanics of every deal, Graham is able to save clients money and reduce the risk associated with a transaction.
