2. Unity
We believe this shows Unity because all the
little boxes are similar and are aligned and it’s
a bunch of little boxes of minecraft to make
up the whole page.
3. Variety
We believe Amazon.com shows a good example of variety, it has a middle area
emphasizing some main products, then the slider bars on bottom that show rhythm and
the bars on the side that make you want to keep scrolling down.
4. Balance
We believe apple.com shows great balance, the bar along the top is put in the
middle of the screen, there is one big picture in the middle, and on the bottom
there are 4 equally spaced small boxes.
5. Emphasis
The ps4 website shows good emphasis, it is showcasing the main border up top
showing the PS4 and then little pictures underneath it showing different sides of the
PS4.
6. Simplicity
Google is a great homepage showing simplicity, they just have their name, their
search bar and a few little things underneath that, it is a very simple design.
7. Rhythm
Doing a google search shows a good
design of Rhythm, when you are on the
page it makes you want to keep scrolling
down and down and down until you find a
link you want to click on. It really creates a
sense of movement.
8. Scale and Proportion
We believed twitter showed good scale and proportion because the picture in the
background is so big, and then they make the text and entry boxes so small. They are
really showing a sense of scale between the two.
