About the University
Jagan Nath University, Jhajjar (Haryana) has been established by the Haryana Private University Act (No. 8 of 2013) and listed
u/s 2(f) of UGC Act 1956. The establishment of the University is in line with the vision and mission of the Society for further
contribution in the field of Higher education in the state of Haryana after a successful venture of 50 acres lush green Wi-
Fi enabled University Campus at Jaipur (Rajasthan) in the year 2008. Jagan Nath University, Jhajjar (Haryana) offers various
courses in Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Commerce, Architecture, Law, Planning, Education and many
more. The new Academic Session will commence from July 2014. The University aims at promoting high quality research in
various disciplines.
The University is situated on State Highway 22, Bhadurgarh - Jhajjar Road, Haryana which is in proximity to Delhi. The campus is
spread over 25 acres of land with all modern educational facilities in its ambience. The University has its own residential facilities
for Staff and separate Boys and Girls hostels. The University has its own dedicated transport system from Peeragarhi Chowk
Via Bhadurgarh and Rithala metro station, Delhi to the University Campus at Jhajjar. The fully Wi-Fi enabled campus has well
planned modern infrastructure with world class facilities and labs.

3. Jagan Nath University, Jhajjar, Haryana has been promoted by the Jagan Nath Gupta Memorial Educational Society, a registered non-
profit organization, established in 1993 with a mandate to “serve the academic and professional needs of the students in the Country”.
The Society, established in the memory of Late Sh. Jagan Nath Gupta, an industrialist, educationist, a great visionary and social reformer,
has been imparting high quality value based professional education for the last 20 years in Delhi NCR and Jaipur to create a pool of
professionally qualified and skilled managers and entrepreneurs to meet the growing needs of trade and industry.
The educational programmes of the Society are dedicated for the promotion of holistic education and academic excellence in the
technical arena. Along with carving a niche for itself, the Society has promoted the general advancement of knowledge by igniting the
cerebral dimensions of students and by nurturing their innate talents. The students after having completed their studies successfully
from a Jagan Nath Group of Institutions, under the aegis of Jagan Nath Gupta Memorial Educational Society have taken up the role
of entrepreneurs successfully joined industry and business as professionals and are readily accepted by both the public and private
sectors in India and abroad. The vision of the society is to establish institutions and Universities of academic excellence to provide
quality education with total commitment to professional education and research. The aim of the society is to serve the mankind and
improve the quality of life by using latest modern aids of training in imparting best education. While setting up high standards for
education, the society thrives to meet the social responsibilities to impart free education at all levels to the needy and economically
weaker sections of the society so as to improve their livelihood which would in turn lead towards making a better India.
