“I no longer believed in the idea of soul
mates, or love at first sight. But I was
beginning to believe that a very few times in
your life, if you were lucky, you might meet
someone who was exactly right for you. Not
because he was perfect, or because you were,
but because your combined flaws were
arranged in a way that allowed two separate
beings to hinge together.”
― Lisa Kleypas, Blue-Eyed Devil
To be honest, I would rather believe in ‘
meant to be ‘ than ‘love at first sight’.
Because the best way to give love is to feel
the love that grows regardless of your
unhealed traumas, different perspective and
agonizing flaws that fits the void in you. It’s
like a spoon and a fork that are both different
but perfectly made to balance their purpose
despite their obvious lackings. Bear in mind
that a love that is meant for you will find a
way to knock on the door of heart and allow
you to be the best version of your being that
feels no hesitation and selfishness to fully
equip the broken you.
2. “A guy and a girl can be just friends, but at
one point or another, they will fall for each
other...Maybe temporarily, maybe at the
wrong time, maybe too late, or maybe
forever” ― Dave Matthews Band
Truly that a ‘guy’ and a ‘girl’ can never be
mere friends without developing a romantic
feelings towards one another. Sooner or later
love will slowly grows and find it’s comfort
into each other’s arms— this may sometimes
feels unrealistic but it’s unavoidable
especially if both of you are meant to feel
attracted towards opposite sex. But one thing
is for sure , a love that is pure will forever
stay and calm the storm in you.
“You can talk with someone for years,
everyday, and still, it won't mean as much as
what you can have when you sit in front of
someone, not saying a word, yet you feel that
person with your heart, you feel like you have
known the person for forever.... connections
are made with the heart, not the tongue.
― C. JoyBell C.
I firmly believe this quotation, a connection
of the soul can never be determine by the
numbers of years you're together — this can
be feel with a single glimpse from the person
you don't even considered as part of your
existence. A genuine connection is like an ice
melted in your tongue to soothe the burning
sensation, it's like a broken vase that found its
meaning in an antic museum, a moth that
finds it's comfort in the blazing fire of torch
and most especially — it's a love that no one
thought it could exist.
3. “The most painful thing is losing yourself in
the process of loving someone too much, and
forgetting that you are special too.”
― Ernest Hemingway, Men Without
Women
Indeed that losing yourself while loving
someone is the most agonizing part of being
inlove. But for me, it is the most crucial and
meaningful process— you meant to meet the
bravest version of you. Along with love is the
pain that always considered as the identical
manifestation of happiness; to love is to be
broken. One person can shattered and ruin the
best in you despite the care and affection
you’ve given but remember, only you that can
pick the crumpled pieces of your worth. To
love is to feel euphoria but to love more than
what yourself truly deserves is like pouring to
an empty glass. Embody your worth , stand
still and be courageous enough to hug the
scarred version of yourself.
