Evaluation Question 2
How does your media product
 represent particular social
 group?
Gender/Age;Young Females
Young females are being represented as
feminine,we know this because the protagonist
found the main character, Zephyr's hairband,
we used a close up with a strand of hair
attached to it, and the fact this is quite fluffy and
pink represents femininity very well.
Gender/Age; Young Females
Young females are also being represented as
very popular we can see this because in the
photographs on the wall in nearly all of them,
Zephyr is mainly in photographs with friends,
this represents that young females are quite
popular and it will give the audience an idea of
 how liked she is.
Gender/Age; Young Females

Young females are also being represented as
very well groomed, this is because we have
close ups of make up and jewellery and hair
brush, show that she likes to take care of her
self. Also in one of the photographs she is
putting make up on shows she takes pride in
    her looks.
Gender/Age; Young Females

Young females are also being represented as
quite stuck up, this is because there are a lot of
photographs of Zephyr and she looks very
pretty in them and also some of them looks as
though they could be model shots, usually
people get an impression that pretty people are
quite stuck up and always have boyfriends,
which shows in a lot of the photographs on the
    wall.
Gender/Age; Young Females

Young females are also represented as active, the audience
would be able to read this because a clip of pompoms flick up
twice at two different angles, one being an extreme close up of
the tassels of the pompoms and the second being another
extreme close up but this time showing the handle so that the
audience can see that it is a pompom, this shows that she likes
to keep herself fit and healthy and also again shows that she
likes to look good and takes care of herself very well. Also as
pom poms are associated with cheerleaders, audience might
associate this with earlier films that they have watched of
cheerleaders, that being they are popular and liked quite a lot.
Gender/Age;Young Females

Young females are also being represented as quite
friendly, we deliberately made her smile so that the
audience can read her personality because she is
always smiling and always happy, the use of this
makes the audience think that she is quite warm
and welcoming, and she is the perfect girl, as she
is pretty and also nice, when usually pretty girls are
associated with being stuck up and rude.
Gender/Age; Young Males
Young males are being represented as friendly
the end of the opening two minutes, one young
male is in the shot, he is very smily and happy
and therefore from this he comes across very
friendly and warm, young males are therefore
being represented as quite caring, friendly and
 kind.
Social Classes; Middle Class
People in the Middle Class Social Class are represented as
financially stable and also quite intelligent which gets them to
there financially stable status. The audience can read this
because they are in an art gallery which connotes maturity
and responsibility which shows the audience that the main
character is very mature for her age and so are her friends,
we also see that she is very close to her friends and its a very
tight social group as they are all so close together and look as
though they are all enjoying each others company.
