The Jisc Publications Router is a service that captures research publications and sends metadata and full-text to institutional repositories to help with open access policies. It currently delivers notifications from 8 content providers to 31 repositories, and is working to expand to more publishers and platforms. Feedback from users has been positive, though some duplicates still occur, and the router aims to address this and further develop based on user comments. Major stakeholders endorse the router as an important tool for open access.
