4. • Follow proposal instructions precisely
• Don’t think that any part is not relevant if it is really not
• Risk to underestimate parts…
• Current market situation – find as much numbers that can support your proposal as
possible
• Find and compare existing solutions with the item of the proposal – very important
• List possible competitors
• Risk analysis
• Do basic IPR study – use Google
• Don’t give up when fail
• We succeeded on second try
• Don’t file a complaint or request for review concerning the evaluation of
your proposal
• Focus on improving the proposal instead

5. • Don’t go too deep in technical details – rather describe it so one
can understand it
• Keep your promises at realistic and achievable level
• Else you will have problem to finish it on time
• Ask somebody to check your English
• Ask JIC for reading your proposal
• They have experience
• They know where to ask if something appears to be unclear
