Presently working as Senior Manager in PPC dept of Earth Mover
Division .
PPC is run on SAP R/3.0 ECC 6.0
Our Products in Earth Mover Division includes Dozers of different variants
for defence and Coal India, Excavators for major coal fields , Tatra vehicle
with different variants, ARV,AARV (Arjun Armoured Repair& Recovery
Vehicle), T-72 track chain purely for defence.
Job includes Creation of Material Master, Bill of Material for new
variants. Demand loading and release of production orders quarterly for
in house items, and release of purchase orders yearly for bought out
items, STO ( Stock Transfer Orders ) from other divisions like E
ngine division , Hydraulic aggregates from Hydraulic Power line.
MIS preparation of Rollout month wise, Sale order Plan month wise and
Sale order confirmation with scope list and LD clause (Liquidation
Damage) .
Achievd supply of 164 crs worth spares during FY 2014-15 as per the
demand generated from regions from time to time ( Conversion of STO
to Production orders and Purchase requests , Co-ordination & follow up
with purchase groups and shops for timely delivery of spare items to
meet customer requirement)

• In charge of Cylinder head line and Fly wheel housing line which machines
Cylinder heads for different variants ( 100kw to 1000kw Engines), and fly
wheels, Engine cases, Engine covers
• Total workforce of 50 employees with 15 cnc machines
• Job includes meeting production targets , Programming in FANUC for
new products in CNC, 5S implementation and maintenance,
• Done Six Sigma on productivity improvement in cylinder heads with the
help of ISI ( Indian Statistical Institute) and improved by 20%.

• As a project leader I was working as Profit centre head , Lead a team of engineers and
achieved profit within a span of one year .

• Oversaw the entire production and manufacturing operations of CNC Division, and CYLINDER

India ). Jan 1988 to Feb1993 Menon Pistons Ltd , Kolhapur
• Suessen Asia is a German venture established in Pune for the manufacturing and exporting
of Textile spinning machines to Europe.
• Worked in Germany for an year as a part of training programme on different machine
tools .
• Monitored the entire gamut of production and manufacturing operations for Top roller
bearings. And exporting 50,000 top roller bearing per month to Germany.
• Instrumental in achieving targets from machine tools such as Six Spindle Automats,
Centerless Grinding Machines, Induction hardening, CNC Lathes, Internal Grinding
• Managed to achieve the production & quality standards of top rollers with 50% of the
machining cost as per the German standards.
• Menon Piston is an OEM supplier to Cummins Ltd , Tata motors and also supplies to
replacement market. They manufacture “Pistons& Rings ranging from 40 mm diameter to
200 mm diameter.
• Successfully handled the overall manufacturing operations for pistons for Kirloskar Cummins
Ltd. Pune .
• Introduced CNC turning centers thereby enhancing the process quality by Turning, Grooving,
Profile turning in single set up .
• Facilitated the reduction in throughput time in machining of pistons for Cummins line.
