I
have
known
Isaac
since
January
of
this
year
when
he
chose
to
map
in
the
Pyrenees.
He
was
part
of
a
group
of
11
that
mapped
on
the
Spanish
side
of
the
mountains.
He
was
given
an
area
of
24
km2
to
map
that
contains
fold
and
thrust
structures.
He
is
progressing
well
since
his
return
and
the
final
mapping
report
will
be
submitted
next.
I
am
also
the
Year
3
tutor
of
Isaac
and
I
know
that
he
is
very
focussed
on
continuing
his
studies
at
postgraduate
level
and
is
planning
to
undertake
a
petroleum
geoscience
MSc
course.
All
of
his
Year
3
option
courses
are
focussed
toward
a
career
in
petroleum
and
include
sedimentology,
sedimentary
basin
analysis,
tectonic
and
structural
analysis,
and
the
geology
of
petroleum.
I
fully
support
his
application
to
become
a
student
member
of
PESGB.
Yours
sincerely,
David
