The course project involved developing a great depth of knowledge in analyzing capital structure, theories behind it, and its risks and issues. Before I
began this assignment, I knew nothing but a few things about capital structure from previous unit weeks; however, it was not until this course's final

Many analysts would note that based on the consensus of the world population, the company's equity is of the highest value as they are currently
ranked as industry leader in market capitalization (source: YahooFinance) which conveniently brings me to my next evaluation.
2. 1.1 Capital Structure
As much as market cap measures to what's related to the company's equity value, a firm's decision based on its capital structure estimates more
significantly to how the value of that company is allocated not only for the return on equity but accounting for debt as well. Most economists would
refer to capital structure as the mix of a company's longāterm debt, the current portion of it, and of common and preferred stock. Furthermore, large
techācompanies today have been taking advantage of capital structure optimizations as it is placed shoulder to shoulder to increasing return on equity
thus lowering weighted average costs of capital for longāterm investment. In other words, it is how a corporate manager should base his/her decisions
on financing the company's assets and operations through various growth prospects and forecast estimates. We will begin to further evaluate the
composition of Google's capital structure by focusing on the company's key statistics and research data from the selected top online providers of
financial statements, including Google!

In all industrial companies there are a number of key tasks or function that must be carried out regularly. Stock must be bought, the bills must be
paid, the customers have to be served and the customer enquiries have to be dealt with. In a small organisation all the jobs may be done by one or
two people occasionally, however in a large organisation people have to be specialised in many different individual tasks. A big company is usually
easier to identify separate functional areas because employees work together in departments. Each individual department carries out tasks to relate to

I have embarked upon an MBA at the Robert Kennedy College (in association with University of Cumbria) to deepen my academic knowledge of the
business world. I hope to emerge from my schooling better able to generate creative organizational solutions and to ground my decisionāmaking in
managerial theory. After taking Power Learning for Managers, I will begin the first four online modules in Organizational Behaviour, Financial
Management, Marketing Management, and Money Management. The online nature of these classes will enable me to balance my current work
duties with my coursework. By using my mornings, lunch breaks, evenings and weekends for reading and study purposes I will be able to keep up
with my class work. Every week I will create a study and work schedule for myself, ranking my duties according to priority.
After gaining a solid foundation in my online classes, I will next be able to proceed to the residential requirement in Leadership and Sustainability. I
hope to be able to arrange with my employer to take time off during this time or at least request a lighter work schedule while engaged in this exciting,

attracted me is that although it is primarily online, it does have a 'real life' component. Although my schedule does

8. Strengths And Weaknesses Of An Mba Student
Strengths are the actions that someone can do better while a person's weaknesses are that defective quality of a person. This paper seeks to bring into
light the strengths and weaknesses that an MBA student could be having and the areas which I the student needs to improve on. Some of the strengths
include being genuinely concerned about others, Being hardworking, being enthusiastic. Some of the weaknesses include perceiving other people the
way I feel not the way the person is, making a decision to make others happy, less honest to avoid conflicts (Seligman, 2015). Hurry to make project

This because hard work makes them achieve most if not all objectives that they set. Likewise, the quality of hard work has played a significant role
in me. This is because through hard work I can organize and follow through all parts of the projects that I have put in place to ensure that I achieve
the objectives of the plan. It is through hard work that I recruit others from the organization to join the projects that I always come up with.
Additionally, hard work has made me productive since these projects have always achieved their aims. The weaknesses Some of the weaknesses
that I have as a student are mentioned above include perceiving others the way I feel but not the way those particular people are. This is to say that
I do not accept the strengths and weaknesses of other people. Mostly the weak points. This comes up mostly during my projects. When assigning
duties to members, I do that without considering the capabilities of other people. I usually assume that every can do a particular thing in a better way
just like I can. This has been a greater challenge to me since I end up giving some people difficult things that overwhelm them and so they end up not
performing the tasks to the expected level. Another weakness is that I often make decisions to make other people happy (Shaw et al., 20116). This is
an indication that I am often not honest in my decision. Many are the times where

Now, A partnership is formed between two individuals and the agreement should be in a contract form or writing. The next two types that are
discussed are general partnership and limited partnership. Silverbrand (2008) stated Partnerships are the primary form of business which larger
companies begin (p.167). Partnerships are simple to start, no required registration only within certain states, and can end quite rapidly. A general
partnership is where each partner is equal to liability or any litigation consequences. In a limited partnership, the liability is limited equal to the amount
the limited partners at first invested. In fact, sometimes limited partners do not make business decisions but, own stock within the company. Basically,
an LLC, with its hybrid nature, "provides owners...with the limited liability protection of a corporation, but without the potential for double taxation"
(Jordan & Clark, 1197). The income created from a general partnership of a business is taxed as income earned by the person working for a different
company. When starting a partnership it is best to discuss the amount of liability that each partner is responsible for. Which, will help when looking at
the type of litigation described.
The most recognized companies are Corporations and LLC's. According to Sonderquist (2000) Corporations are similar to limited partnerships

17. Reflective Essay On Business Management
I am a Business Management major and I have no clue what I intend to do with my life. I chose business management as my major, because despite
being undecided, I thought that it was the most useful. Business management appeared to be the most useful to me, because everything is
essentially a business. I'm not worried about what I'm going to do with my life though, I have faith that it will all work out. As it says in the bible,
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid."
(John 14:27).
Faith can have a major impact on how business is conducted. A Christian's faith can lead them to make ethical and morally good business decisions. As
said in the book, Instructors Guide business through the eyes of faith, "Christians, on the other hand, have an opportunity to see God's good intentions
for them in a business career. Business is, after all, an institutionalization of God's intention for us to work and to serve each other.". Business
management will let me have control over a business, whether it's my own or or a company that I work for, and I will be able to be creative. It will
allow me to develop skills, like leading, planning, and organizing, all of which mirror qualities that are Godly. Being a Christian will also let me be
a good influence for others in the business world. Not only by making good ethical and moral decisions, but by also helping others and showing that
you can have faith and still be a rational business person. A good example of this is the organization Wine to Water. They are a non
āprofit organization
that uses donations to help solve the global water crisis in third world countries. This organization was founded by a man named Doc Hendley,
because when he found out that only 1 in 9 people have access to safe and clean water, he was shocked. Doc Hendley was so shocked that he started
the organization and decided to make a difference in the world, because he felt that it was his spiritual calling to help those people. My faith will
hopefully lead me in the direction of a fulfilling life, both physically and spiritually.

The MBA does not follow a specific professional standard and there isn't a follow up courses. More importantly its education is more focused on
nonfigurative theories and case studies rather than providing practical skills Rynes et al. (2003). Also as Mintzberg (2004, p. 5) believed that MBA
was approaching the wrong way of teaching and to the wrong people as well, arguing that its "specialized training in the functions of business, not
general educating in the practice of management". Therefore its concluded that MBA is not providing a wide range perception on reality. MBA is
now facing the threats of the business world, where businesses are preferring to train their employees to their different kinds of work themselves and
also conducting training programs under their own work environment, and while the business is an ever changing environment evidence indicates that
MBA is not holding its position in the market place with recruiters like it used to any longer. Whilst there are threats and weaknesses to the MBA,
there is also the opportunity to redesign its module, studies and include more practices like providing workshops and focusing on being more practical
which some schools that offer MBA are now doing. Part II

25. Strategy and Structure of International Business (Part 2), summary Firms expand on international level to increase their profitability. In order to
maximize that profitability they must adapt their strategy to the structure and business environment. During this unity, I lean haw a firm can be

which a firm can take and the advantages and risks of each possibility. In the paragraphs bellow, I present what I understand about organization of

Organizational architecture is the structure of the organization, which include organizational structure, control systems and incentives and processes,
organizational culture and people. An international business can be organized in three different dimension. A vertical differentiation, which
emphasizes on where decision are made, a horizontal differentiation, which concerns the formal division of the organization and in the integrating
mechanisms which focuses on the coordination of subunits. Based on the way a firm it organizes, a manager should identify which strategy is
appropriate to its organizational structure. For instance a manager could choose a decentralization with core competency more centralized for a vertical
