The words “ leak” and “leakage” appear in the field of
plastic bottles (PET, HDPE PET, Plastic Cans, Full range of
bottle&containersizes)andmetalcontainers.
EVERYTHING LEAKS, a product may exhibit an extremely
small leak rate, but it will still leak. Materials have cracks,
crevices, or holes, of some dimension (possibly
microscopic). These may have been created during the
manufacturing process, due wear fatigue, stress, or just
duetotheporosityofthematerial.
Leakages are normally created in the containers due to
imperfect joints (parting line) due to foreign particles, due
to recycled material, due to imperfect deflashing, and due to imperfect welding. In many countries, if a pallet of filled product
leaks in supermarket, the pallet is returned to the supplier who will generally look for recompense for the cost, form the

pressure. By using high quality components and sleeting the
appropriate technology, "LEACON" has grown out to be one of the
most maintenance free units. This budget unit is capable of testing
up to 3600 containers per hour of 50ml on a single head and still find
0.17 mm (0.0007 inch) holes at this rate This is aimed for use with
machines where the annual production rate is up to maximum of 15-
20 million bottles per year with 1,2, 3 and 4 cavity production. The
unit has high accuracy and is able to find very small holes. If time
