Islamization of Knowledge (IOK), in reality, represents the desire of all those who wish to recognize and acknowledge the Truth and Reality of this world and to structure life and society in accordance with Truth and Reality. For thousands of years, philosophers, thinkers, scientists battled over whether humans could ever come to know Truth independently. A set of principles were developed along with conditions along
wih conditions of islamic methodology.
The principles and frameworks like unity of Allah
(swt), unity of humanity, unity of creation, unity of life, unity of
truth and unity of knowledge should be an integral part of life.
This will give a better vision of islam and education as well as
hope for islamazation of knowledge

5. EXPLORATION : THE UNITY OF ALLAH (SWT)
The unity of Allah (SWT) is a bedrock of a meaningful life. Allah is
the principle of everything, creator of universe (earth and humanity)
.
✘ No one is superior or inferior of one another. All human beings
are equal, free and independent of one another and dependent
on Allah (SWT).
✘ Vision of life and society. In pursuit of value, man living healthy,
good life in co-operation with fellow men.
✘ Allah SWT is the first and ultimate end of everything. His
command gives us awareness for Tawhid that liberates the mind.

Cosmic Order
After the unity of Allah
SWT, the next in that
order is unity of creation.
By Allah’s command,
creation happened, has
the power, is the source
and neither is Allah
retired or dead.
Creation: A kingdom
of Ends
Allah (SWT) created
everything and did so
with precise measure.
Allah also descriibed the
beginning and the end
of each creation He
created. Each creation
has its purpose and
existance.
Subervience (Taskir) of
creation to man
The Shariah contains
judgements relevant to every
aspect of human life.
The subservience of creation
is unlimited and Allah has
created His creation this way.
Without this subservience, the
world would be useless,
unchangeable and immovable.

TRUTH AND UNITY OF KNOWLEDGE
There is no truth outside the ultimate truth.
✘ Allah SWT alone knows the absolute reality, and He, alone,
reveals the knowledge of that reality to mankind.
✘ The truth is embodied in the laws of nature.
✘ The unity of truth prescribes that no claim on behalf of
revelation maybe made that goes against reality.
✘ The unity of truth prescribes that no contradiction between
reason and revelation is final.
✘ The unity of truthand laws of nature with the patterns of the
creator, prescribe that no inquiry into the nature of creation
closes the book on further investigation.

HUMANITY
✘ Culture, personality, langauge, race, physcial build or other different
human charactersitics do not affect a person’s status before Allah
(SWT).
✘ Quran [49:13] ‘ O people, We have created you (all) of a single pair, a
male and female; and We have constituted you into tribes and nations
that you may know one another. The nobler among you in the measure
of Allah SWT is the more virtuous.’
✘ The Quran never denies the presence of natural differences among
human beings.
✘ All humans are equal and created by one God Allah SWT.

✘ Unity of Allah
Allah (SWT) He who is always alive and never dies, gave vision, reason
and society in pursuit of value, good life and divine powers over other
creations. Allah is sacred and with Him there is no devoid in life.
✘ Unity of life
Islamic religious laws alongside moral laws constitute man’s character.
Allah SWT bestowed man with life, all the aspects of life and with authority
over His creation.
✘ The unity of creation
Every events that took place or has taken place and that which will take
place are all the power of Allah (SWT).
Humans ought to trust Allah (SWT) and His creation.

✘ The unity of life
Amanah gives higher the moral life, greater kind of life as well as
nobility.
Allah (SWT) bestowed abilities and all things as a show trust.
✘ The unity of truth and knowledge
The truth from Allah (SWT) to guide, instruct man to take of His
creation. However man has developed laws to help establish
understanding among each other. This doesn’t over ride the ultimate
truth of Allah as revealed.
A Muslim that accepts the unity of truth has openness to new
evidence & persistent to the quest and inquiries.

12. CRITICISM
✘ The creation is organic such that each part in the creation of Allah
serves one end or another.
✘ No part of Allah (SWT) creation is useless or evil.
✘ Need to face life problems with deep sense of gratitude and patience.
✘ Mankind ought to work hard and also seek help of Allah (SWT) to
overcome life culminates.
✘ If it were not for for the unity of Allah SWT, the universe would be in
confusion and conflicts. In God, we have a fountain of mercy, power
and guidance to be greater in knowledge and truth through the noble
Quran , teachings from Allah’s Prophets.

✘ Man’s reason may come to terms with reality
when the dismissal of light of revelation from Allah
is powerfully recognised.
✘ The development of knowledge, contradiction is
based on the concept of ultimate truth.
✘ World view is presuppotions on epistemological
knowledge and certainity of the truth.

14. ✘ The violation of the truth or sin is direct consequence of man.
✘ I believe the unity of knowledge rejects discrepancy as illusion, clarifies on
contradictions.
✘ The unity of truth confirms the greatness of Allah (SWT), the ultimate source of
knowledge, master of mankind and absolute creator.
✘ Furthermore, a Muslim mind should accept reality, revelation and conceptions.
✘ Divine trust amanah empowers peace, assurance and institutes the development
of islamic civilization.
✘ Knowledge, availability of resources, life and property all signify the unity of trust.
✘ Lastly, tawhid conceptualises that the there is one sustainer of the world and
mankind, the omnipresent and omnipotent,the supreme Lord of the universe.

Finally, I made my concluding remarks where I shared my thoughts in
analyzed the first principles of disciplines. Discussed the utmost unity of life
followed by unity of Allah (SWT), unity of creation then the unity of truth with
knowledge, the unity of life and lastly the unity of humanity.
Cling firmly together by means of Allah's rope, and do not be divided.
Remember Allah's favor towards you when you were enemies; He united your
hearts so that you became brothers because of His favor. (Qur'an 3:103)
