2. Thesis Statement
• For players who have used performanceenhancing drugs in the past, they are to
receive no further punishment from Major
League Baseball. But, a lifetime ban will be
assessed to all those who choose to take PED’s
in the future.
3. Purpose Of This Paper
• My Paper is about removing cheaters from the
future of Baseball
• Also making sure kids do not idolize cheaters
the way I once did
4. Problem
• Over 100 players have been linked to receiving
and taking Performance Enhancing Drugs
• Many records have been broken by players
who have taken PED’s
• This issue must be addressed for the MLB to
regain its integrity
5. Solution
• Past players are not to be punished any more
• All future players are to receive a lifetime ban
from the sport of Baseball
• Every record which has been broken will have
an asterisk next to it
6. Call to Action
• This issue has been present in Baseball for the
past 20 years
• Harsh discipline for cheating will discourage
anyone to cheat in the future
