2. What do I like?
Hello, my name is Sergey. I love my family and my white cat.
But my favourite colour is green.
I like riding a push-cycle.
I like playing computer games.
And …I like cake.
3. My favourite animals are
Polar bears..
They are omnivores.
Polar bears can be 350–700 kg
and mother bears are about half that size.
Polar bears spend
many months of the year at sea.
They live in the Arctic.
Between November and February, cubs
are born blind,
covered with
a light down fur,
and they can be less than 0.9 kg.
4. It lives in eastern Russia
and in China.
It can live 20 years.
The Mandarin Duck eats
water plants and acorns .
Sometimes it eats worms.
They make nests
on the trees
near the rivers.
Mother Duck usually has
seven or ten ducklings. In China
this duck
is the symbol
of love and
luck.
5. Tigers can live for about 18 years.
But at the Zoo they usually live 25 years.
My favourite animals are tigers.
Tigers live in Asia.
They are carnivores.
The tiger has a big body,
a long tail and sharp teeth.
Tigers like swimming.
Baby- tigers stay with their
mother for two years.
6. My pet.
I have got a dog. His name is Rex.
My pet answers to his name. My dog is two.
Rex is brown. My pet is little.
I teach my dog to play with a ball.
My pet is clever. Rex can jump and run.
My mother looks after my pet.
My brother feeds Rex.
He likes juice and cheese.
I take my pet for a walk and play with him.
I love my cute dog.
7. SUMMER.
In summer the sun is bright!
Flowers smell very nice! In summer
I like playing hide-and-seek and
football. My favourite summer
month is July. In July I like
swimming.
I play with my funny guinea pig in
my free time.
He is a herbivore.
I love holidays.
8. On the 31st of October in the United Kingdom
young people celebrate Halloween.
In the UK the children play a
special game at Halloween:
“Trick or Treat”.
Ghosts, witches, goblins,
skeletons, black cats, bats,
spiders and
jack-o’lantern are
the symbols
of this holiday.
People put pumpkins
on the window-sills.
They cut eyes, noses and
mouths on the pumpkins
and put candles into them.
