The project consists
of replacing an aging
facility with a multi-story
building which can
support the park patrons
well into the future.
The driving force of the
design was to provide a
stout, but inviting
Structure. I wanted the
building to
establish a visual
connection over the
dunes to the beach. The
program allows for a
diversity of activities
In one structure.
I used naturally stained
wood for the pedestrian
areas to offset the
solid nature of the
Split face walls.
