 Contractor: EFNAB JV (Egyptian-French New Assiut Barrage) (Vinci Grand project,
Orascom Construction Industries, Arab Contractors) joint venture.
 Project Cost: Euro 1.4 billion.
 Location: Assiut 400 Km South of Cairo.
 Project scope: The Barrage has four turbines 8 MW each. It has double
locks to allow navigation on the Nile River and it is designed to maintain a
head of 4 meters to ensure discharge of a minimum 445 m3/s flow into the
Ibrahimia Canal in order to irrigate nearly 700,000 hectares of land
between the dam and Cairo. The structure of the Barrage provides a two-
lane roadway across the Nile River which is the main crossing point at
Assuit city for local residents.
 Duties:
1) Preparing quantities of concrete works, formwork, steel reinforcement,
embedded parts, finishing, and electrical quantities using AUTOCAD and
Excel sheets.
2) Preparing monthly invoices for Sub-contractors & Client.
3) Comparing the new revisions of the drawings with the tender drawings to
calculate the variations (if any).
4) Assisting subcontracts Manager in updating payment status and
subcontractors back charge reports on a weekly basis.

5) Prepare variation /change orders and payment certificates for ongoing
Activities.
6) Carry out cost estimates for alternative design solutions.
7) Budget preparation of all trades (concrete, steel reinforcement, embedded
parts, finishing, and electrical quantities).
8) Contract documentation review (Specs., Drawings, BOQ, & correspondence)
for budget preparation.
9) Reviewing the Material Orders insuring that no extra quantities have been
ordered.
10) Resolving disputes between contracting parties.
11) Assist the Contracts Manager with a range of other duties as may be required
from time to time and supply all relevant information for review at the specified
intervals set.

 34 Buildings Including about 900 Housing unit at Bani-Ghaleb Area.
 37 Buildings Including about 1000 Housing unit at New Assuit City.

 Project scope: Executing 34 building at Bani-Ghalib and 37 buildings at New
Assuit City Including about 1900 Housing units with all architectural finishing works
& Electrical works .
 Duties:
1) Duties supervision and monitoring all site activities to ensure technical
requirements implemented at site.
2) Preparing all engineering documents (shop drawings, BBS, method of
statement, material submittals, composite design ...etc.) in compliance with
the project specifications and design.
3) Quantity surveying for all structural and architectural works including all items
and finishing accessories.
4) Submitting current & final invoices for subcontractors & client.
5) Overcome and solve any technical problems that may occur during
construction.
 September 2011 – July 2012, Site engineer at Utap-Epot.
PROJECTS:
 Constructions& Finishing works at Alex bank (el-nozha branch & el-korba
branch).
- Contractor: Utab-Epot office for trading and engineering Project.
