My friend Sujata Ganguly is my 24 hours open hotline service to happiness with
whom I chat, share, laugh and even off load my sorrows .She is the pillar of my
strength and I depend on her for my emotional stability. She is my biggest
cheerleader and secret keeper! Talking to her always makes me comfortable. I
need someone like her to listen to all my stories very attentively and won't
judge me no matter what. With her, fun never stops and it seems like I am
always doing something exciting or downright silly. Even in the most stressed
out situations she manages to play the clown for me and come up with a joke
to lighten up the mood.
And if that fails, she would come up with a coffee and tons of hugs! No matter how frustrated or how bad my mood is. . . I
become normal when I meet her. I wonder if she was not there in my life, I would have succumbed to pressures of family and
life. I feel secured and sheltered when she support me without any reservations. I have never seen her crumbling under
pressure whenever she enters any challenging situation. She remains cool, concentrate on the situation, make decisions and
have full control over her thoughts and emotions. She is strong willed yet compassionate and has the ability to deal stress very
tactfully. Nothing can define her. Not even negative criticisms can leave ugly scars on her thoughts and emotions. This makes
her special and stand out from rest of the crowd. She makes me more accepting person by taking me outside my comfort zone
and opening up to a whole new way of looking things at. She gives me confidence when I need the most. She believes in the
word "IMPOSSIBLE" but at the same time aren't afraid to make it "POSSIBLE" which motivates me in times of crisis. That
is #WhySheIsBetterThanMe . Due to the flavours of love and friendship, I laugh a little louder and smile a little brighter. I am
really blessed to have a fantastic friend like her in my life.

My inspiration is my mother Poonam Bansal who is the reason of my existence and is very special to
me and I'm connected to her from the first day through umbilical cord and an unspoken bond was
formed that day only.
She stood against sex determination 37years back and brought me into this beautiful world. Later
on she started an NGO for the women's help who are in need in the name of FLYING BIRD. It's truly
said that God can't be everywhere that's he created mother's. I remember I wanted to pursue
dancing as my carrier and it was difficult to convince a conservative family. But you stood by me and
gave me enough wings to fly to my aspirations. You took home tuitions for my dance academy fees
and even sold your jewellery when I wished to started a school.
Today I run a Dance academy in my mother’ s name “ POONAM NRITYASHALA” and a small section
is for poor kids in my school. I own my success to my mother. Mom I just want to say that:
 For all the times that I forgot to thank you
 For all the special little things you do
 For all the words that sometimes go unspoken
 I want to say," Mom I love you, I do"
 I love you the way you stop and listen, and the kind support throughout the years
 Your arms were always open when I needed a hug
 Your heart understood when I needed a friend
 Your gentle eyes see stem when I needed a lesson
 Your strength and love guided me and gave me the wings to help me soar
