Once upona time,there was an island where all the feelingslived:Happiness,Sadness,Knowledge,
and all of the othersincludingLove. One day it was announcedto the feelingsthatthe islandwould
sink,so all repairedtheir boats and left.
Love wantedto persevere until the last possible moment.Whenthe islandwas almost sinking,Love
decidedto ask for help.Richnesswas passingby Love in a grand boat. Love said, "Richness,can you
take me with you?" Richnessanswered,"No,I can''''''''''''''''t.There isa lot of gold and silverin my
boat. There is no place here for you."
Love decidedtoask Vanity who was also passing by ina beautiful vessel,"Vanity,please helpme!" "I
can''''''''''''''''thelpyouLove.You are all wet and might damage my boat." Vanityanswered.
Sadnesswas close by so Love asked for help,"Sadness,letme go with you." "Oh....Love,I am so sad
that I needto be by myself!"
Happinesspassed by Love too, but he was so happy that she didnot evenhearwhen Love calledher!
Suddenly,there was a voice,"Come Love,I will take you." It was an elder.Love feltso blessedand
overjoyedthat he evenforgot to ask the elderhis name.Whenthey arrivedat dry land, the elder
went hisown way.
Love realizinghowmuch he owed the elderand asked Knowledge,anotherelder,"Whohelpedme?"
"It was Time," Knowledge answered."Time?" askedLove."But why didTime helpme?" Knowledge
smiledwithdeepwisdom and answered,"Because,onlyTime iscapable of understandinghow great
Love is."
