to help children and youth affected by a 6.2-magnitude
earthquake that struck central Italy on August 24,
2016. The quake, which was followed by a number of
aftershocks, toppled buildings throughout the area and
caused the deaths of at least 250 people.

establish a child-friendly space for the hundreds
of children who need assistance in dealing with
the disaster. Emergency response is a major
