A Simple PCBA Design

Using DIPTrace EDA Design Tool

                     Hieu Pham
Cadence, Allegro, OrCAD are cool...but

 ● The price to get them is too high.
 ● The time to be spent on learning them is too long.
 ● Any additional tool to plug into them is expensive

So, unless you want to make a career out of these expensive
tools, DIPTrace is a good alternative since you can tackle your
design from start to finish in a more co$t-saving and timely
fashion.
My Personal Design - Using TINA and
DipTrace - Very highly affordable tool$.
First step: Draw up a design
specification. Les choses
commencent à s'organiser.

Second step: piece-wise
simulation throughout the
design (TINA.)

Third step: Schematic
capturing and DRC
(DipTrace).

Fourth step: Layout and DRC
(DipTrace).
The first and second steps are yours to
decide what and how to do...
Then, comes the third steps, ah, thanks to DipTrace.
Look ma, it's a WLAN to RS-232
converter.
And then the fun part: Layout...yeah! top side
baby.
Bottom side...almost there.
Garçon, the bill please! (BOM)
What does it look like - Fabrication
time, top side
Lastly, the physical view of bottom side
What do you want to see at the end of
the day? A board - the fruit of your
labor
In my time there was a drafting table with drawing arm...and I
was happy.

The Apollo space capsule was designed with slide-rules...and it
got out there and back.

and then came DipTrace that makes designing circuits a joyful
thing for a fraction of what the other guys co$t.

Thanks Novaram for taking circuit design to a personal level.
