I am a dynamic, confident and motivational musical director and accompanist who is

Cantorion Pontyclun Ladies Choir, Musical Director, 2013-Present
I have overall responsibility for the musical integrity of this community choir which raises
funds for charities and local causes.
This involves arranging and taking rehearsals for events/concerts in which the choir will be
participating and conducting the actual public performances.
I plan and co-ordinate all rehearsals to ensure the choir’s readiness for all events is achieved
by selecting an appropriate repertoire and learning techniques to suit all abilities.
I also maintain the choir’s website and social media platforms.
Llantrisant Male Voice Choir, Interim Musical Director 2013 - Present
Maintain the musical integrity of the choir covering any Musical Director absence by planning
and co-ordinating all rehearsals to ensure the choir’s readiness for all forthcoming concerts
and events.
Caerphilly Ladies Choir, Deputy Musical Director & Accompanist 2011-2013
Assisted the Musical Director & Accompanist at weekly rehearsals by taking the choir warm
ups to improve breathing and singing technique in preparation for concerts / events and
tours. I also covered the Musical Director’s absence in rehearsals and public performances.
Cantorion Pontyclun Ladies Choir, Deputy Musical Director & Accompanist 2003-2011
Accompanied the choir at weekly rehearsals in preparation for concerts / events and tours.
Gained experience in training and directing choir when covering Musical Director’s absence
in rehearsals and conducting public performances.
Gained practical understanding of vocal training and contributed to the development of
