1. To whom it may concern:
Hello.
My name is Ana Paula Azcarraga Merlo. I am passionate about the arts and performing arts,
particularly music. I am a soprano singer, who is able to sing from pop, to musical, R&B, soul
light opera and chanting. I like to interpret and reflect ideas meant to be brought to life with
voice, as well a creating my own reflection of life and feelings through my own work.
From a young age I have been exposed to the arts, from visual arts, to drama, literature, story
telling and music. Of them all, music to be my most cherished. Some family members are
successful and fully self sustained artists, exposing and constantly selling their works of art.
Other family members have had success in publishing biographies and children stories. There
was no better guidance for me to learn from than to constantly be exposed to such a swirl of
arts from a young age. I have also had the opportunity to tour with colleagues whether be
performing or helping with the tour planing and management through the U.S, Italy and Mexico.
I have also had the opportunity to learn from the experience of assisting or supporting with lead,
background or support vocals in both in private, local and professional studios. This has given
me a keen sense of inter personal relationship skills, so as to carry myself with professionalism
and respect for others.
After much experimentation and exposure to many artistic fields, I found my passion and a way
to incorporate into my music what I love most. I have finally started to structure the production of
my personal solo project. In the mean time I continue to contribute to teaching children,
assisting in studios and if possible assisting in live performances, whether in performing, event
organizing, or managing. I continue to educate myself specifically for the fields that enhance my
music and in my own writing. The priority as of now is to further educate myself and hone my
skills. This, through as much useful programs, courses and information, of which the most
important has been Berklee Online.
Sincerely
Ana Paula Azcarraga.
