Money from the fundraiser will go to benefit Mackenzie’s Mission in their efforts to combat
childhood drowning and promote safe water habits. The organization reaches out to schools,
lifeguards, pools, and businesses in the community to promote water safety throughout the
community. Specifically, the organization hopes to use money from the Bar Crawl start aand
promote a life jacket loaner program at local lake and river spots to insure that all children have
access to fitting, Coast Guard approved life jackets. This program hopes to encourage the use of
life jackets while boating, fishing, and swimming by providing free resources to the community
in key areas, such as Horsetooth Reservoir.
Bars that will be participating in the event include: Bondi Beach; The Lodge; Old Town
Distilling Company; Blind Pig; Pateros Creek; The Whiskey; Illegal Pete’s; CopperMuse
Distillery; and Cache Old Town Bar & Grille.
