3. What is Hemp?
• Hemp is cannabis
• Trace amounts of THC
• US defines industrial hemp as any cannabis plant with under 0.3% THC by
dry weight
• Medical or recreational cannabis contain more than 0.3% THC
• “Marijuana” was a slang term used in the 1930’s for propaganda purposes
• This term is beginning to phase out, due to its derogatory origins
• Hemp has thousands of uses
• Therapeutic applications of hemp extract is just one of many uses for the plant
• Incredibly sustainable
• Naturally pest resistant
• Phytoremediation – cleans the soil as it grows
4. What is CBD?
• Cannabis contains many active compounds called Cannabinoids
• Cannabinoids have many unique characteristics and can be used to target
health concerns
• CBD or Cannabidiol (can·na·bi·di·ol) is one of at least 113 cannabinoids
identified in hemp plants
• Non-intoxicating, does not cause a high
• CBD has many therapeutic applications
• Researched heavily in Israel
• Came to the forefront for child epilepsy in the US
• Charlotte Figi – Charlotte’s Web – CW Hemp
5. How Does it Work?
• CBD works with our internal Endocannabinoid System (ECS)
• This system is found in all vertebrates
• ECS is made up of receptors, endocannabinoids and enzymes that break
down the cannabinoids.
• There are two receptors: CB1 and CB2
• CB1 receptors are found in the brain, gut and nervous system
• CB2 receptors are found in the rest of the body and the immune system
• Our body produces its own internal cannabinoids – called endocannabinoids
• The receptors act like locks on the surface of cells, the cannabinoids like keys
• Cannabinoids engage the receptors and restore balance in the body
• ECS regulates things like sleep, appetite, digestion, mood, immune function,
motor control, pleasure, pain, memory, temperature regulation, and
reproduction
6. • This system can weaken from many factors like environment, stress, and
diet
• When the system is compromised, it can cause illness or disease
• We can feed this system with phytocannabinoids – or cannabinoids from
plants. (Like CBD from hemp)
• CBD works on the enzymes that break down our internal cannabinoids
• Allows for our body to utilize more of those compounds – restoring homeostasis
• This is why CBD can be used to address multiple concerns at once
• Handling your own health and wellness
7. How are these products legal?
• Under federal law, hemp is defined as Cannabis sativa plants with less
than 0.3% THC by dry weight (2014 Farm Bill)
• Anything more than 0.3% THC is considered “marijuana”
• Certificates of Analysis show these products are in compliance with
current legislation and regulation
• Federal Law is different than State Law
• In the same way that marijuana is illegal federally, but legal in certain states.
• New legislation is in the works to clear up the grey area surrounding
hemp
8. About Our Products

9. Terminology
• Full Spectrum, Full Plant, Whole Plant
• Refers to an extract that includes all parts of the hemp plant
• Terpenes, polyphenols, flavonoids, cannabinoids
• Includes the trace amounts of THC in hemp
• Broad Spectrum
• Refers to an extract that has components removed
• In the case of Relive Everyday, this is the THC molecule.
• Isolate
• Refers to the isolation of one molecule
• CBD Isolate is now a pharmaceutical – Epidiolex
• Entourage Effect
• Synergy of all components of the cannabis plant, making the entire plant complex more
valuable than the sum of its individual parts.
• Like the front man in a band, the performance suffers without the entire production,
including band members, lights, instruments – everything working together in harmony

for another week

• No consistencies with genetics, weight, or even condition
• Once an ideal dosage is achieved, other delivery methods and cost
effective products can be recommended
