Lead and manage the strategic development of all design and technical
functions associated with the organization and projects.
Advise and support the Operation Manager on the design and technical issues in
order to provide and develop a long term strategy which takes into
consideration of factors such as: funding and financial arrangements,
partnership working and compliance with internal and external policies.
Manage the design from feasibility to completion for all project requirements.
Present the Operation Manager when necessary at meetings and other events.
Ensure effective communication and negotiation between all client stakeholders,
including in-house client, external clients, contractors and supply chains in order
to ensure high quality of design and technical competence is delivered.
Make recommendations on design and technical issues to the Operation
Manager, Plant Manager and Project Managers and to assist in determining
policy and procedures in architectural and construction related matters.
