2. ABOUT
Inducate is a not-for profit organization that aims to promote and
support the schooling of underprivileged children in India. We plan to
commence this project in the slum areas of Ghata Gaon in Gurgaon.
We interacted with several parents in the area and found out that
most of their children did not attend school due to a multitude of
reasons. Hoping to resolve this, we started this initiative. We reach
out to private schools willing to enroll these children. The interested
parents send their children for two weeks of trial classes in the school
so that they can adjust to the new environment. Following this, we
admit the children into the school. By distributing food donated by
several restaurants, we are able to gather the children and talk to
them and their parents about their progress in the school. We at
Inducate hope to expand this organization and reach out to many
other underprivileged children, all of whom deserve a chance to
expand their horizons.

5. OUR VISION, MISSION AND VALUES
Vision
• Academic development of the youth of India
Mission
• To empower underprivileged youth by providing opportunity to attend school, along
with required social and financial support
Values
• To make India better by helping the youth of India via:
• Providing an opportunity for education
• Identifying & resolving key roadblocks on their educational path
6. WHAT INSPIRED US TO START THIS
INITIATIVE?During the course of our work with another NGO, we noticed that many
children did not attend school, although they were all very excited at
the prospect of attending school.
Less than half of India's children from ages 6 to 14 attend school.
Parents are reluctant to send their children to school as they prefer extra
help at home in order to attain enough money to sustain themselves.
The children that we met had big dreams and couldn't achieve them due to
their lack of education.
All of this saddened us, and we sought out a solution to this problem.
We decided to become a medium between the children and the school so as
to spread more awareness about the importance of education and provide a
convenient & cheap platform to do so, helping us to increase the enrolment
