 I spent time at three different hotels located in
Ocean City, West Ocean City, and Salisbury

the hotel industry
 Half of the day at the Front Desk and other half
in Housekeeping

 Wiped down elevators
 Took out trash
 Spent the day with the La Fabian at the
Hampton Inn located in Salisbury Maryland
 Went office to office in downtown Salisbury to
offer potential conference rooms

 Spent the day with the Megan
 Megan explained to me the process of creating
a budget for the hotel
 Showed me how she puts together the Dailey
Expense Report to send to Marshall everday
 Used the software on a company computer to
perform journal entries for a plethora of hotels
 Recorded information in the “banking bible”
for newly acquired hotels
 Bank account numbers
 Credit Card information
 Organized binders of hotel records
 Rachel demonstrated her daily tasks to me
which included:
