As creativity and thinking outside the box have
long been associated with only western languages, the
need to shift such a perception has come to be noticed
when Marketing club members have taken upon them-
selves the responsibility of bringing our native language;
Arabic, to life, combined with modern art in Dhad Exhibi-
tion. The exhibition idea is to manifest Arabic language
aesthetic side and emphasize the language capabilities
of becoming an effective promotional medium.
The exhibition theme is based on Arabic Graffiti; which is
one type of modern art that appeals to young audience
of the event. Visitors have been exposed to some of the
Arabic language wonders by the paintings on the wall,
and were challenged by the Arabic language rhetoric
aspect, as they’ve participated in the different events’
activities. Over 200 visitors witnessed the club Arabic
Campaign and expressed their admiration of campaign
concept and design. T-shirts, Notebooks and bookmarks
were given away to visitors after applying customized
Arabic calligraphy on copies by club talented artists.

“It is planned in a way that guarantees grabbing audience
attention and making of the event a lifetime story to be told
to those who missed it”, explains Ms.Sara Altuwaijri. The word
“Guerrilla” is originally Spanish and refers to small wars in
which opponents follow unusual small fighting techniques.
