4. LABIAL ASPECT
- LESS Mesio/Distal dimensions
- HIGHER Contacts area
- Contact Areas :
* MESIAL : INCISAL 3rd just below the incisal angle
* DISTAL : Junction of MIDDLE & INCISAL 3rd
- Labial ridge not well Developed
5. LABIAL ASPECT
- Cusp angle is in line with the CENTER of Root
- Root is SHORTER by 1-2 mm
-RULE :
Anytime you have tooth that has a ONE FACIAL Cusp
the MESIAL CUSP SLOPE is always SHORTER THAN
DISTAL CUSP SLOPE ------------------------------- DCS > MCS
-EXCEPTION TO THE RULE :
- Primary MAX CANINE
- Permanent FIRST MAX PREMOLAR
6. LINGUAL ASPECT
- Crown outline is TRAPEZOIDAL
- FLATTER lingual surface
- CINGULUM is smooth & Poorly developed
- LINGUAL RIDGE raised at the INCISAL 3rd only
- ROOT appears NARROWER than Labial aspect
- Marginal ridges Not PROMINENT
- PITS & GROOVE rarely ever present
7. MESIAL ASPECT
- Crown outline is TRIANGULAR
- Incisal portion is THINNER
- Cusp appears MORE POINTED
- Tip of cusp is more nearly CENTERED over root
- Developmental depressions are MORE PRONOUNCED
- The Cingulum is LOW & FLATTENED
8. DISTAL ASPECT
- Same as mesial aspect , Except :
- LESS Curvature of CEJ
- LESS depression on Root surface
9. INCISAL ASPECT
- M/D diameter LESS than L/L
- Cusp tip & Mesial Cusp ridge more likely
To be inclined in a LINGUAL direction
- Outline is MORE SYMMETRICAL
