- Horizontal axes : Data collecttion (sensors, detection and vision) Analyses and visualisation (ICT Big Data, Interpretation) Automation and control (actuation, manipulation, handling, robotics_ Materials (nanomaterials, smart surfaces, new driving forces) Voor de akkerbouw en open teelten gaat het om PPS-en op het gebied van management- ondersteunende technieken (nieuwe sensoren, autonome besturing, robots, data-analyse, etc.) en nieuwe bewerkings- en teelttechnieken met lichte robots die bijdragen aan verduurzaming (minder gewasbescherming, energie en meststoffen). In de zuivel- en vlees ketens gaan initiatieven van start voor het benutten van big data voor beter ketenmanagement (verduurzaming, dierwelzijn en transparantie), real-time data voor optimalisatie van diervoeding, slimme controle van stalklimaat en robots in de stal. In de tuinbouw wordt geïnvesteerd in nieuwe toepassingen van precisietuinbouw, nieuwe kasmaterialen die zich aanpassen aan licht, klimaat en gewas en klimaatbestendige kasconstructies.
- Voor het gebruik van satellietdata moet er nog heel wat gebeuren: Pansharpening Orthorectificatie Atmosferische correctie Geo-referencing Wolkencorrecties Composities maken Allemaal rekenintensieve klussen met grote databestanden. En dan heb ik nog steeds geen informatie. Hoe maak hiervan bijvoorbeeld een NDVI, een normalized density vegetation index ?
- In het afgelopen jaar zijn er twee WUR studies verschenen met aandacht voor PL Twee studies die het belang van nieuwe technologische ontwikkelingen voor de maatschappelijke opgaven binnen de agrosector waar de overheid voor staat benadrukken; - een over drones voor agro en natuur - een state-of-the-art rapport over Precisielandbouw. Over dit laatste rapport en de beleidsaanbevelingen daaruit zal auteur Tamme van der Wal straks meer vertellen. Dit rapport is de belangrijkste ‘onderlegger’ voor het voorstel Nationale Proeftuin Precisielandbouw
