The document proposes an idea for an indie/alt rock music video for the Pixies song "Where Is My Mind?". The video would follow a character in all black and a hoodie who has lost his mind and searches to find it. Key locations would be in the town center and an abandoned tunnel outside of town. At the end, the character would find another version of himself who removes the mask, revealing he has found his mind again.

2. OUR GENRE
 The Genre we have chosen is the same as the other idea (Indie/Alt
Rock) as we believe this is the genre that would allow us to make the
best vid possible so we want to keep within it.

3. THE BAND/SONG
 The band we have chosen is The pixies, they are an alt rock band from
Boston, USA, who formed in 1986 and are still active today.
 The song we have chosen to create our music video from is Where is
My Mind? Released 1988 on the album Surfa Rosa. The song has been
kept popular through the decades by featuring in different media such
as the film Fight Club (1999) and the TV show Mr Robot (2015) plus
many more…

4. STORYLINE/IDEA
 We want to follow a character wearing a mask who has lost himself and
wants to literally “find his mind”, the character will wear most likely all
black but most importantly a black hoodie that will emphasise the
mental state of this character. In the end he will find another version of
himself who will take of the mask and the hood and will be fine again.

5. LOCATION
 It will be filmed in and around the town centre, as we want him to stick
out amongst other “normal” people.
 We also would like to film at an abandoned tunnel we found outside of
town, we reckon that would be a perfect location for it to end, and it
just looks real cool.

6. COSTUME/PROPS
 As mentioned he will be in all black, with a black hoodie, wearing the
hood at all times.
 He will also most likely wear a skull balaclava as his mask, as this is
pretty easy to obtain and would fit the look of him being abnormal.
