2. The colors of 2023
50 shades of blue
If, in 2022, we only had eyes for barbie pink and vitamin yellow, 2023 could well be the era of
blue! From baby blue - renamed baby blue - to cobalt blue, including royal blue, azure blue and
deep blue… this season, the color of the sky on sunny days was on all the catwalks!

Spring green and vitaminized
Green, color of spring? In its ultra-vitamin, almost fluorescent version, green has won over
designers! Almost pulling on the bright lemon yellow, the green imposes itself. To be trendy, we
adopt it in total look - as on the Versace, Sportmax, Fendi parades - or even in small more
subtle touches. And if neon green is the most 'in', light green, whether it's more pastel mint
green or more spring-like and sustained, is all right this season!

beige
Beige is a total look this season! Not as all-purpose as black, not as sharp as blue or green,
beige is the ideal compromise to be trendy without being violent! Not really a chic safari style,
this season beige mixes with the Tayloring style : 3-piece suit, long coat over matching pants,
flowing cape dress... Beige plays it chic!

Cargo pants, THE trend piece in 2023
Last year, it was the micro skirt that won all the votes! This year, star pants from the 2000s are
making a comeback: cargo pants , loose and with patch pockets on the thighs, have the
advantage of enhancing all silhouettes and, as a bonus, of being very comfortable ! Do we
adopt it? Yes, if we are to believe fashion designers and it-girls who are already in favor of these
very Y2K pants! The low waist, another star of the 2000s and came back in force last year,
remains as trendy as ever in 2023.

The floral print
Make spring and flowers rhyme? Let's face it, it's quite easy and it still works just as well if
we are to believe the fashion shows of the season! In any case, the creators of Acné
Studios, Christian Dior, Dries Van Noten, Max Mara, Paul & Joe, Sportmax, Victoria
Beckham (and many others) approve of the floral motif for this season again. Often colorful
and small in size, in the Liberty spirit (like at Dior), the flower is also worn in an XXL and
more graphic version like at Max Mara or even in relief, sewn onto a summer dress like at
Acné Studios. We don't hesitate to mix floral prints and vibrant colors to adopt the trend
without being tapestry!

Faded and Tie & Dye
Do you have a creative streak? The creators too! This season we noticed a return of
multicolored clothes. On the one hand, some creators have bet on a very shades of color,
with a uniform color gradient, often in orange and red hues and evoking a kind of sunset...
On the other? Tie & dye, this very cool textile dyeing technique, also seems to have been
emulated, especially by Altuzarra and Alexander McQueen.

Gothic is chic
"Wednesday" - the Netflix series by Tim Burton - and its main actress Jenna Ortega, never
stop influencing all universes. And fashion is no exception! Proof of this is the goth-fashion
trend which brings up to date the gothic fashion codes of the 2000s. Black lace, black tulle,
black leather, slong dresses and boots are essential at the heart of trends and on the
catwalks of fashion shows. more in vusB at Christian Dior, Versace and Burberry… This is
an opportunity to unleash the Wednesday Addams that slumbers in us!

Transparency games
Already last year, lingerie worn during the day was becoming an essential trend. This
summer again, it will be necessary to take into account the effects of transparency... by
dosing the audacity! On the parades, the models reveal their dream plastics without batting
an eyelid. But Emily Ratajkowski (seen at the Tory Burch fashion show) doesn't want to! On
a daily basis we opt for juxtaposition, even a pretty bra revealing itself subtly… but there is
no question of putting on a transparent jumpsuit with nothing underneath! Unless …

Transparent, form-fitting and shiny
There it is no longer just a question of transparency but almost of a diamond (because it too
is sharp, transparent and shiny). Without sinking into bling-bling, some designers have dared
to combine tight-fitting pieces with rhinestones. Not easy to wear on a daily basis but, for an
evening, by putting on rhinestone pants over a bodysuit, why not?!

In biker mode
Need someone in Harley Davidson? Even if you don't have a motorcycle, you succumb to
the biker trend which continues to increase its popularity in recent months...

Trendy materials and details in 2023
Sometimes the little details make all the difference! This is the case with fringes and feathers
that give a sophisticated and elegant touch to any outfit. As for crochet, it's a bit of a timeless
summer item which, each season, comes back in force at the same time as the summer
temperatures...
