Gresham Harris has 26 plus years’ experience providing training to personnel in areas of Weapons of Mass
Destruction, Terrorist Awareness, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear Defense, Hazardous
Materials, Safety, Security and Risk Management. Mr. Harris provides instruction on the operation and
maintenance of various types of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) detection,
identification, and decontamination equipment systems.
Mr. Harris served as an instructor at the US Army Chemical School, primarily as instructor/writer for the
US Army's Biological Integrated Detection System-BIDS. (BIDS is a mobile laboratory that rapidly Detects,
Collects and identifies field concentrations of biological warfare agents based on their physical and
biological properties.) Mr. Harris presently holds a level 5 Certification in Homeland Security from the
American College of Forensic Examiners Institute (ACFEI) with Fellowship Status. Mr. Harris is presently
certified through the Anti-Terrorism Accreditation Board as a Certified Master Anti-Terrorism Specialist
(CMAS). Presently certified in National Threat Analysis from the American College of Forensic Examiners
Institute (ACFEI).

Currently providing Instruction and logistical support as a Technical Trainer level 4 connected to the
NBCRV Stryker New equipment Doctrine, Tactics and Techniques training team. Same duties as described
with Rotator Staffing as well as job duties previously with Leidos Corporation.

Gresham Harris provided subject matter expertise in all areas related to CBRN as a Contract temporary
employee. He has provided the Leidos Corporation with all of the NBCRV Stryker system training and
instruction, guidance and subject matter expertise in the areas of hazard awareness, operation and all
areas related to detection, sample collection, decontamination and the proper procedures related to
collecting and transferring samples related to Chemical; Biological; Radiological, Nuclear hazard sample
collection .The samples that are collected have to comply with CFR 1910-47, HHS, FEMA Standards. The
samples have to comply with all Governmental Regulations that stay with compliance and context related
to the regulations with the transport of Hazardous Materials for Conformational and Definitive
Identification of stated samples. The confirmation and Definitive Identification will allow proper medical
treatment procedures that are necessary to provide the best treatment plan for all individuals that are
exposed and or either or contaminated with any type of CBRN material.

Systems Training Specialist
Gresham Harris performed duties as an Instructor/Writer and Evaluator under the general direction of the
Program Manager for training. Mr. Harris conducted instruction with the capability and training
development defined with emphasis placed on research, development and instruction of subjects related
to Weapons of Mass Destruction, Hazardous Materials, and Biological Detection and Hazard mitigation. Mr.
Harris provided subject matter expertise on test and evaluation on a variety of equipment that provides
awareness, sample collection and identification capability of potential CBRNE hazards.
Mr. Harris Developed, reviewed and edited lesson plans and presentations. Mr. Harris Implemented Risk
Assessments for training events, to insure a proper assessment was documented to identify potential
hazards while training was conducted. As an Instructor Mr. Harris provided over 10,000 hours of platform
instruction 1996 to present in areas related of CBRNE, Haz- Mat and Weapons of Mass Destruction. Mr.
Harris was recognized as the Instructor of the Cycle at Fort Leonard Wood Mo. CBRN School for 2009.

CBRN Senior Analyst
Gresham Harris performed duties as an Instructor/ Writer and Evaluator under general direction of the
Training Program Manager for the biological detection training team. Mr. Harris provided instruction and
training development support, maintained assigned property in a clean and safe working condition,
ensured accountability of all equipment, provided classroom and hands on instruction as directed and
performed maintenance and maintenance support activities in accordance with local policy. All instructions
were given in accordance with TRADOC regulations. Mr. Harris also provided training development support
to include research of assigned topics and areas, developed lesson plans, presentations and performed
risk assessments. Also provided supervisory support to students to ensure quality training in a safe
environment.

Command Sergeant Major Harris performed a wide area of supervisory functions related to management
of the Ordnance School. The main responsibilities were to carry out policies, procedures and standards of
performance related to training, appearance and conduct of personnel and st udents. CSM Harris advised
and initiated recommendations to the Commander/ Director and staff in matters pertaining to local
support channels. CSM Harris performed duties as the senior trainer and spokesperson for the School.
CSM Harris conducted a mentoring program for new instructors and support staff in counseling with an
emphasis in Instructor development and presentation delivery. CSM Harris briefed the Commander /
Director in all areas related to the performance of subordinates, ensuring adherence to published policies
and inspection of activates and the facilities. CSM Harris supervised and mentored subordinates on career
advancements and promotions criteria. Other duties included development and implementation of large
area external simulation exercises. Also in areas of Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear and
subjects pertaining to Weapons of Mass Destruction to include Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Risk
Management, Safety and Instruction. Conducted surety oversight evaluations related to these areas.
2002 – 2007 Center for Domestic Preparedness, Anniston, AL
CBRNE/ HAZMAT Instructor
Gresham Harris was assigned to the Hazmat department as an Instructor to teach advanced HAZMAT and
emergency entry level HAZMAT to first responders for a variety of Federal, State and Local Government
agencies and subjects related to Weapons of Mass Destruction. Mr. Harris specifically was responsible for
the biological terrorism lecture and taught specific HAZMAT related equipment for detection and
identification. Mr. Harris also was assigned to the Technical Emergency Response Training Team, which
consisted of awareness level of HAZMAT related duties and responsibilities. He taught and evaluated
subjects related to Chemical Nuclear and Biological related scenarios that was specifically focused toward
civilian first responders. During his tenure he was chosen to participate with the TOPOFF 4 exercise. This
exercise is conducted with FEMA as an evaluation of Municipal, County, State and Federal agencies
responding to a possible terrorist incident. Provided advice, assistance and guidance to all elements in
their implementation of the exercise for quality assurance purposes in accordance with the Homeland
Security exercise and evaluation program.
2003 To 2006 310th Chemical Company (BIDS) /490th Chemical Battalion, Anniston, AL
First Sergeant Harris main responsibilities was to provide leadership, guidance, management, training
and supervision to a Company of an authorized strength of 189 personnel. Mr. Harris conducted training
classes for personnel in areas of development related to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and
Explosives (CBRNE) training. Other areas of training included Force Protection, Physical Security, and New
Equipment. Mr. Harris managed the daily administrative duties for personnel development. Mr. Harris was
the principle advisor and technical expert to the Company Commander/Director in all of the related areas.
Specific information related to this position is as follows. BIDS is a mobile laboratory that rapidly detects
and identifies field concentrations of biological warfare agents based upon their physical and biological
properties. Mr. Harris conducted and supervised numerous external simulation exercises and was the
primary contributor with the development and final distribution of a standard operations procedure and
guide of the equipment for the 310th Chemical Company. Based on very successful evaluations and
nomination criteria First Sergeant Harris was recognized and awarded the Order of the Dragon which is
the highest nonmilitary award in the US Army Chemical Corps.
