GFA Season Opening Postponed

The 2016 opening of the GFA Season is postponed. The grand opening was carded
for Saturday 21st May at the National Stadium with an exciting double header.
However, due to circumstances beyond the GFA’s control the opening had to be
postponed.
A meeting is expected to take place on Monday 23rd May where a new date will be
discussed.
The opening matches of the GFA Season will feature 2015 Premier League winners
Hurricanes SC taking on the winners of the first division Mt. Rich FC while
Premier League second placed Paradise FC International will come up against
Gouyave FC who were second in the first division.
This year the GFA is hoping to play Premier League matches in enclosed venues to
enhance the delivery of the product and add to the GFA and club revenue streams.
