Gregory McNaughton worked here at the Essex County Club in Manchester,
Massachusetts for just over one year. He provided exceptional service from October of 2012
until November of 2013. He started here as an intern and worked in our various Food and
Beverage Departments. It didn’t take long for us to realize that he was a natural and quite gifted
with enormous amounts of potential. He was trained and quickly became our lead Waitstaff
trainer. He thrived in that position so our next step was to train him to become the Assistant
Banquet Manager and eventually he trained as the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. His
high energy and drive allowed him to easily make the transitions necessary. Greg would assist in
managing our dining and bar service operations, assuring our high standards of appearance,
hospitality and service by the staff. He was proficient in all aspects of the restaurant and was a
wonderful leader, and was an example for all to follow.
The Essex County Club is an exclusive private Country Club that employees on the “Best”
people. Gregory is in that category of “The Best.” Gregory is an extremely hard working team
player who is reliable, conscientious, honest, cordial, a joy to work with and a true consummate
professional.
