This document outlines a proposed medical aiding app with IoT capabilities. The app would allow for continuous monitoring of health vitals like glucose levels, blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen levels. If any parameters go outside safe ranges, it would alert both the user and their designated contacts. The app aims to improve access to healthcare by allowing remote monitoring so doctors can oversee more patients, and giving people in areas without facilities a way to get medical guidance. It could help diabetes patients maintain safe glucose levels and detect potential emergencies early. While this could have wide applications, limitations include dependency on network connectivity and access to smartphones.

4. INTRODUCTION
We live in a world where medical facilities are
unavailable to remote people and even certain urban
people couldn’t get the right medical guidance in
times of need. So keeping in this mind we have
thought of a very interesting project which would
save lives.
5. NEED FOR WORK
According to WHO, 50% of the world’s population cannot obtain essential health
services and consultation, it would be great if they can get medical assistance in times
of emergency.
11.2% of people of India suffer from Diabetes in day to day life they suffer much
because they don’t know if they are experiencing dis-ease because of high sugar levels
due to excess intake of carbohydrates or very low sugar levels due to excess medication
and if they need to have a balanced sugar level they have to prick themselves and check
their sugar levels before and after eating which is kind of exhausting. So there is a need
to aid them and make their life easier.
Usually, doctors have a high workload and it is pretty tough to monitor their patients
24*7.
6. OBJECTIVE
To monitor the patients health instantaneously at any
time in any place.
To assist the doctors in their work place
To make health analysis easily available to the common
people
7. PROPOSED METHODOLOGY
We have decided to create a mobile application that
can be used to monitor the glucose levels of the user
continuously and give a detailed analysis of their
glucose levels throughout the day which can be used by
the user as guidance to eat without reaching any of the
two extremes in glucose levels by continuous
monitoring.
8. The proposed app would contain
various other features such as
continuous Blood Pressure monitoring,
Heart rate monitoring, and SpO2
monitoring.
9. This app would alert the user and the close
relatives of the user if any of the
parameters being completely monitored goes
beyond the safety level.
10. This app will be a platform where both
doctors and patients can create accounts
and the patients can monitor themselves or
the Doctors can use it to monitor the
parameters of their patients’ health 24*7.
11. All these monitoring of health parameters will be made
possible by IoT(using custom-made wearables and CGM
implant which is comfortable to the user).
A customized Invivo implant must be made in a way that
it is user comfy from already existing technology
12. SCOPE
Has wide range of uses in medical field.
Can be used in old age homes to keep an eye on the health of elderly people constantly.
Can be used among family members to track the health of each other
13. APPLICATIONS
If the user is showing Cardiac dysrhythmia which may be a sign of an upcoming heart
attack, this app can detect it early and send an emergency alert to the doctor, close
relatives that they have registered with, and optionally an ambulance service.
The user and user’s relatives can easily monitor the user’s health condition through
this. For example: if the son is abroad but wants to know the health status of his
mother/father instantaneously, then he can use this app to track their health status.
Another application is that many villages don’t have a hospital nearby them, so if one
person has this app connected with all the people in the village we can easily track their
health status in advance, and premeasure can be taken.
Users can create profiles and the app records their daily vitals and record them as
graphs
and other medical reports of the patients can be updated with the profile.
15. DEMERITS
The life period of the implant.
Needs connectivity every time.
Distant villages usually don’t have good network connections.
Most of the remote people still don’t have access to smartphones.
