2. ACADEMIC PROJECT:
Project Title : PROTOTYPE OF FUSELAGE.
Role : Designer and Analyser
Software : CATIA and ANSYS
Description: Fuselage model is fabricated by Composite materials like Uni-directional and
Bidirectional fibres in various degrees of orientation using Epoxy and International orange
pigment. Model is designed in CATIA and analysed in ANSYS.

Project Title: HEXA MESH OF CONNECTING ROD
Description:
The Project aimed at providing a hex mesh for the connecting rod of the engine. Rod is cleaned
up; sliced and different bodies are grouped together into a single part. Topology is shared, and
Sweepable bodies are meshed. Non-sweepable bodies are meshed by mesh method, sizing and
face mesh. Rigid face is constrained and structural analysis is carried out. Solution is found and
results are been evaluated. Necessary development for the model is reported.
Project Title: MODAL ANALYSIS OF AIRPLANE WING
Description:
This project is done to find out the natural vibrational frequencies of an airplane wing in rest.
Wing is modelled using aerofoil co-ordinates, cleaned and meshed. Face end which is fixed to
the fuselage is constrained and first six numbers of nodes are obtained. Solutions for the total
deformation for the nodes are found out, through its results are been evaluated. Therefore
development of the wing is been modified according to the necessity of the airplane.
WORKING EXPERIENCE
Currently As a DESIGN ENGINEER (Reverse Engineering) in Global Automotive
Technologies Tamilnadu -India, from Nov 2014 to till date. Design engineering service for BIW
fixture, punch on fixture, casting components & tool and die

Software’s used: Catia v5, AutoCAD 2012.
Client: Transpower india pvt ltd
Description: Design and Development as per clients requirements. Concept Design, Detailed
assembly, Drafting and Detailing. 3D Modelling of Sheet Metal parts finally upload PLM
activities.
