An Olympic swimmer. A symphony composer. A master craftsman. These are all people that experience flow; they are able to perform their work at the highest possible levels of human achievement. Shu Ha Ri is a Japanese concept that describes the stages of learning to mastery, and is often used to describe the journey of agile maturity. In this session, we'll explore concepts for maximizing efficiency on agile teams, and how they transform from "doing agile" to "being agile"—reaching a state of optimal achievement and performance.
23. Flow is being completely
involved in an activity for its
own sake… Your whole being
is involved, and you're using
your skills to the utmost."
