New York is the big city in
the USA, the most famous in
the world and the most
populated in the USA with a
population of obout 8
million people. New York is
also called the « Big Apple».
New York is divided into five
borough: the Bronx,
Brooklyn, Queens,
Manhattan and Staten
Island, the last two districts
are located on islands.

2. Central Park is a large public park in
Manhattan in New York City. In the
park the are a lakes a castle, the
Metropolitan Museum of Art and the
Central Park Zoo. Central Park is
divided into three sections: the
North End, Mid Park and South End.
It has a eight lakes and ponds.
Central Park is the fifth-largest park
in New York City. Central Park is the
most visited urban park in the United
States and one of the most visited
tourist attractions in the world

3. The Statue of Liberty is the symbol of
New York and the USA. It is one ofthe
most important monuments in the world.
It is located on the Hudson River in the
middle of Manhattan Bay on Liberty
Island. It was made by Federic Bartholdi
and Gustave Eiffel. Inside the statue is
made of steel and outside of copper. It is
93 meters high. Represents a woman
holding a torch in her right hand,in her
left hand she holds a table with the date
of American Independence day writter
on it «July 4 1776», at her feet there are
broken chain and a crown on her head
where the sevent points represent the
seven seas and the seven continents.

4. The Twin Towers were the
tallest buildings in the world.
In these buildings there were
many offices, banks…On the
morningof Tuesday 11
September 2001 Al Qaeda
terrorits crashed two planes,
oneby the two towers. First
the soyth towers fell and
then the north tower. There
were a lot of deaths in this
attack . In memory of the
dead and also of the towers
they builta museum wich is
21 meters underground.

a skyscraper located in the
Midtown district of the
borough of Manhattan. It is
one of the symbols of the
city and is tall 443 meters.
There are about four milion
visitors every year.
