Heart • Heal COCA x Cipher Ground Arts Gala
科学的使命在于理理解物质世界，艺术的使命在于表达⼈人类的感情世界。 12⽉月20⽇日，由COCA艺术纽约(COCA Art New
York)联⼿手赛福地（Cipher Ground）两个⾮非盈利利机构主办，以“Heart •Heal爱•治愈”为主题的艺术公益展演在纽约完美落
幕。此次活动旨在透过科学与艺术完美结合，以互动艺术的⽅方式让到场更更多爱⼼心⼈人⼠士体会⾃自闭症患者的真实感受与内⼼心需
求，从基因层⾯面阐释⾃自闭症的患病机理理，并提供艺术治疗的科学依据。

总领精⼼心设计，由全体参与者2分钟静默“⾃自闭症情景体验”拉开帷幕。伴随着美国电影⼯工会灯光师Michael Nu的专业现场灯
光控制，⾳音控交互设计师王平（Ping Wang）和Lisa的新媒体交互背景， Auditory Painter宗⽴立（Li Zong）携其团队带来
四⾸首爱的钢琴三重奏（Violin: Margarita Krein, Cello: Yi-Chun Chen），古典吉他独奏(Yuda Deng)与现代芭蕾
(Shirel Jones)激情碰撞，以⾊色列列歌⼿手(Ofer Bashan)动情献唱。另外，来⾃自哈佛⼤大学医学院的Hon Ho博⼠士，纽约⼤大学
Nordoff-Robbins Center的⾳音乐治疗师Ming Yuan Low，⽣生物信息学专家应开博⼠士，耶鲁⼤大学的⾳音乐家周天歌进⾏行行精彩专
题演讲，都让参与者对艺术治疗有了了全⽅方⾯面的认识和感受。

On December 20, 2014 (Saturday), COCA Art New
York, in collaboration with Cipher Ground, a non-
profit organization featuring the crowd wisdom of
160 Ph.D. students and scientists from Ivy League
universities and top scientific institutions, will
present Heart • Heal COCA x Cipher Ground
Arts Gala at DCTV (Downtown Community
Television Center), a renowned art space in SoHo,
New York. The event is intended to increase
awareness of the genetic deciphering of autism and
art therapy as a treatment. Nowadays, about 67
million people around the world have been
diagnosed with autism. In the United States, one of
every 68 newborns has an Autism Spectrum
Disorder (ASD). However, as for now the definitive
causes of autism are still unclear. Most people with
autism are characterized by impaired verbal and
non-verbal communication, restricted and repetitive
behavior, and interest in only a limited range of
activities. The autistic mind is beyond the reach
and comprehension of the rest of the crowd. It is
through art that the common public is granted a
rare access to the world, feelings and emotions,
loneliness and joy, of those who suffer autism.

Institute, Chinese Biopharmaceutical Association
USA, Pratt Institute digital art, the International
Students Psychology Association at Columbia
University, Manhattan School of Music, New York
Film Academy, Japanese Cuisine & Bar and Law
offices of Zhiyu Hu support the event, among other
institutions. On the day of the event, about 40
pieces of photographic work, paintings, and new
media art on autism and its treatment will be
exhibited. During the charity gala in the evening, a
two-and-a-half hour featured performance will
provide the guests with a unique opportunity to
understand autism both from a scientific
perspective and in an experiential way. The
exhibition will be open to the public from 3pm. The
evening charity gala and interactive performance
will invite guests in the fields of arts, media,
biomedicine, education, finance and business in
New York, who share the same concern for autism
and caring for the patients. The performance will
include piano trio, contemporary ballet, classical
guitar, vocal and documentary screening. The show
is designed for the guests to personally experience
the gradual inner transformation in the process of
recovering from autism, and thus to have a more
profound appreciation of the healing power of art.
Champaign and hors d’oeuvres will be served.

晨），⾳音乐治疗的⽣生物医学原理理（贾⻰龙妹）和⾳音乐应⽤用软件对⾃自闭症治疗的显著效果（张汉钟博⼠士）。艺术展览包括以
Special School为名的纪录⻄西藏特殊学校的摄影作品(Bai Feng)，体现⾃自闭症患者孤独与语⾔言障碍的主题摄影作品(Ping
Wang, Zhiyue Wang, Wei Cui)，⾃自闭症⼉儿童服务中⼼心设计蓝图(Yao Yao)，展现⽣生命⼒力力的系列列新⽣生⼉儿画作(Qin Han)，
治愈系版画(Qiaoyi Shi)，默⽚片放映(Bai Feng, Mr. Frog)。
