Agenda for short-term exchanges of student groups ITALY
Monday 10th January
Arrival of the guests at Villa D’Agri and transfer to the hotel for teachers and students, dinner and
overnight stay.
Tuesday 11th January
Breakfast at the hotel. 9:30 am - departure from the hotel to the Institute (via Provinciale).
10:00 am- socialization and meeting activities
10:30 am- Coffee break
11:00 am- Walk along via Roma to reach Zecchettin Square.
11:30 am- We move to the Technological Institute. In the Aula Magna greetings from the Mayor
and the Municipial Administration. Then the guest students will show their works to introduce their
respective schools.
12:45 pm- Lunch break.
1:30 pm- The teacher will present the theme of mobility: “How man has modified the
environment with his footprints”.
2:00 pm- Workshop: “How man has modified the environment with his footprints”.
2:45 pm- Coffee break
3:00 pm- Upload on eTwinning presentation and photos: “How man has modified the
environment with his footprints”.
4:00 pm- Educational event held by experts from the “Val d’Agri Environmental Observatory”.
Relevant topics will be presented aimed at spreading environmental culture and sustainability.
6:00 pm- Visit to the sport centres: sports hall and sports field.
7:00 pm- Dinner
Wednesday 12th January
Breakfast at the hotel. 9:00 am- Visit to Grumentum excavations, the Museum and the areas near to
the oil extraction sites and abandoned wells. Creation of a photo reportage that show the negative
aspects of human intervention on the environment and of the solutions taken in order to remedy.
1:00 pm- Lunch break.
2:00 pm- Open debate among students to express their opinions and the possible solutions.
2.45 pm- Coffee break
3:00 pm- Upload on eTwinning presentation and photos: “How man has modified the
environment with his footprints”.
4:00 pm- Interview to the local institutions on the activities carried out to protect the environment
and the territory. Exponents of local and regional administrations will be invited to the Institute and
thus be able to answer the students’ questions, who will play the role of journalist for one day.
6:30 pm- Return to the hotel.
7:30 pm- Dinner
Thursday 13th January
Breakfast at the hotel. 9:00 am- Visit to Matera (European Capital of Culture 2019), meeting with
the tour guide and visit to the famous “sassi” (stones).
2:00 pm- Lunch break
3:30 pm- Departure to Villa d’Agri
5.30 pm- Return to the hotel and free time.
7:00 pm- Dinner.
Friday 14th January
Breakfast at the hotel. 9:30 am- Meeting at the Technological Institute.
10:00 am- Students will be able to create and print a small newspaper with the interviews and
focuses on the protection of the environment and sustainability.
10:30 am- Coffee break
11:00 am- Continuation of the works.
12:45 pm- Lunch break
1:30 pm- Continuation of the works.
2:00 pm- Upload on eTwinning presentation and photos: “How man has modified the
environment with his footprints”.
2:45 pm- Coffee break
3:00 pm- Evaluation
4:00 pm- Return to the hotel to relax and free time.
7:00 pm- Dinner- Delivery of the Certificates.
Saturday 15th January
Transfer to the airport.
