Hi, I am Gaurav Agnihotri and come with an experience of 11 years in Engine and VehicleAssembly production. I hold a Diploma
in Mechanical Engineering and I have a history in Processes Standardization by MOST, Product Assembling & Testing. I have
always rendered by best efforts in total quality management in manufacturing areas and have gained a better understanding of
production, new model Development, vehicle & engine testing, hydraulics testing, line QC, all these years. I have the ability to
adapt to any given situation and gel up with people. My success in professional life depends on colleagues that I have worked
with other than the hard work that I put in.
I always try to update my knowledge because I believe that this is what becomes your ability in future. As such today, I can say
that I have a very precise understanding of ISO 9001:2002, ISO/TS 16949:2002, QS9000, ISO 14001, OHSAS18001, TPM, Lean
Manufacturing projects and BS7799. I have always proved my mettle and have been acknowledged for the work that I have
delivered. I try to show my strengths through my work. In my current and previous organizations, I have made efforts that
always yield results. I increased productivity by reducing the 4 manpower with process improvement in Eicher Tractor,
increased DPR from 86% to 93% in Suzuki & 40% to 80% in Mahindra Two wheelers, boosted production from 600 Engines to
1000 Engines in Mahindra, decrease HPV (Hours Per vehicle) from 1.9 to 1.37 in Suzuki, and increase the 5s score 70 to 95 in
Suzuki again. The list is very long and I hope it becomes even longer so that the mutual interest of me and my employer is
saved.
Every organization wants to save cost and work better. So, I have experience in that too for I have saved about Rs. 2 lacks per
year through material salvaging in M & M and Rs. 50,000 in the year 2008-2009 through material salvaging in Suzuki.
On a personal front, I like reading books and listening to music and my colleagues would say that I am anxious to learn new

As a Jr. Manager-Production, I was responsible for ensuring Vehicle Assly & Hydraulics Assly are produced as per plan with
desired quality, reducing WIP and downtime, monitoring quality and making strategic plans for D.E.T.’s, G.E.T. and apprentices.
I also made repeated trials of new models and executed single piece flow process setup on line.

As an Engineer for Assembly Production, I troubleshoot part inspection & engine with the help of PDCA, documented Assy
Drawing,Process sheet, Line Balancing& S.O.P. for new modal and drafted new process usinglean manufacturing. I successfully
learned the art of using Kaizen and set up new model w.r.t.; Throughput time, Cycle Time & Tact time. In order to reduce
consumer complaints and improve DPR, I made effective use of Zero Defects Process.

At Suzuki Motorcycle, my key role was that of a Production LQC & New Modal Development Coordinator of vehicle & engine
