The golden eagle is a raptor found in the Pyrenees and Pre-Pyrenees mountains. It feeds on rabbits, marmots, chamois, conies, young ibex, foxes, squirrels and other small prey. The golden eagle is the largest bird of prey in the Iberian Peninsula, with males weighing 3.7 kg and females weighing 6 kg. They have a total length of 75-88 cm and a wingspan of 2 meters.
