Simplifying BEE:
We are known for “simplifying” the BEE Code, with the ability to demonstrate the regulations,
calculations and evidence required in a practical manner. We assist clients in the collection of
BEE data in order to successfully complete the BEE verification processes - according to the
B-BBEE Act and BEE codes. The audit process is based on proven and well tested data

BEE Solutions & Optimization of BEE Scorecards:
We have developed various detailed optimization methodologies to assist companies to
improve their BEE Scorecard Level. These methodologies cover
all BEE related elements, across your company’s departments
(HR, Finance, etc) helping management to understand the intricacies
and relationships between the BEE elements and organizational
departments. Data is presented in a “Return on Investment”

3. Verification Methodolgies
BEE Analyst & Associates has developed detailed verification
methodologies, based on the SANAS R47 verification manual,
as well as the IRBA SASAE 3502 guidelines. These methodologies
were tested and approved by various SANAS verification agencies
and IRBA Auditors.
All BEE consultation processes are aligned with the audit/verification process, structured
around our BEE Scorecard System – BEE TRAX. The system is based on “Best Practice” models,
supported by our pro-active approach to BEE activities and investments – moving away from
BEE verification as an “annual event”.
The fact of the matter is that BEE calculations, as specified by the various BEE Sector Codes, is
clear and almost undisputable. However, the interpretation of the B-BBEE Codes of Good
Practice, is quite often debated which means that it needs to be supported by proper and
accurate evidence that certain transactions did happen, and it happened in the “true spirit of
B-BBEE”
We have the required knowledge and skill to assist companies in all 11 BEE Sector codes.
Our approach is a little bit different than conventional BEE consultation companies and is
based on the following principles:

 The Revised BEE Code, as effective on 30 April 2015
• System is a Microsoft-based application, it implies an easy and trouble free interface
• Easy to use with a Microsoft Excel “look and feel”
• Certificate renewals – previous/existing client database can be imported into the
system in order to save time and money
• Snap-shot functionality for workshop and group discussions (access to internet not
required)
Monthly updates and quarterly forecast
Many clients are using the IT system as a management tool to update BEE data on a
regular basis. This approach works towards the forward thinking that BEE should be a
normal monthly business process instead of an “annual event”. Quarterly forecast on the
status of BEE activities assist management to take informed business decisions, in the
most cost effective manner.
Reporting Functionality
