2. Mexican Cuisine
๏ฌ Mexican cuisine is a complex and ancient
cuisine, with techniques and skills developed
over thousands of years of history.[4] It is
created mostly with ingredients native to
Mexico, as well as those brought over by the
Spanish conquistadors, with some new
influences since then.[5] Mexican cuisine has
been influenced by its proximity to the US-
Mexican border.
3. Italian Cuisine
๏ฌ Italian cuisine has a great variety of different
ingredients which are commonly used, ranging
from fruits, vegetables, sauces, meats, etc. In
the North of Italy, fish (such as cod, or
baccalร ), potatoes, rice, corn (maize),
sausages, pork, and different types of cheeses
are the most common ingredients.
4. Indian Cuisine
๏ฌ Indian cuisine consists of a wide variety of
regional and traditional cuisines native to
the Indian subcontinent. Given the range
of diversity in soil type, climate, culture,
ethnic groups, and occupations, these
cuisines vary substantially from each other
and use locally available spices, herbs,
vegetables, and fruits. Indian food is also
heavily influenced by religion, in particular
Hinduism, cultural choices and traditions.
5. Thai Cuisine
๏ฌ Thai cooking places emphasis on lightly
prepared dishes with strong aromatic
components and a spicy edge. Thai chef
McDang characterises Thai food as
demonstrating "intricacy; attention to detail;
texture; color; taste; and the use of ingredients
with medicinal benefits, as well as good
flavor", as well as care being given to the
food's appearance, smell and context.
6. French Cuisine
๏ฌ There are many dishes that are considered
part of French national cuisine today. A meal
often consists of three courses, hors d'ลuvre
or entrรฉe (introductory course, sometimes
soup), plat principal (main course), fromage
(cheese course) or dessert, sometimes with a
salad offered before the cheese or dessert.
